Ok, so the house-building is not going quickly (two years after buying a condo which at that point was supposed to take 3 months to finish), but slowly but surely we are acquiring a house in Maputo. Here are some pics of the latest state of affairs. We are almost ready to take over the construction ourselves and finish it on our own, since the builder (this is our second builder so far) has really not moved very quickly. In fact, the whole condo has gone so badly that the owners have just got together to try and force a solution, through legal means if necessary. Sean is on the owners' council, and it seems that we are actually better off than many others in this mess.
Ahhh, the joys of construction in Mozambique. And we want to do more of this up north ??

eu nem percebo nada de construcao... mas parece-me algo estranho que os acabamentos (tipo portas, janelas, rodapes) venham antes de terminada a estrutura e as pinturas...
