Weekend in the Sun

While I am indeed forced to work out in these difficult island conditions, I rarely get the chance to stay in the resorts. So, taking the advantage of mum and Auntie Cherry’s visit, off we all went to Matemo and Guludo, two of the expensive island retreats. Guludo isn’t actually an island, but is on a lovely long empty beach, where we stayed in these wonderful luxury tents,
complete with cribs…and hats.

Samuel, as you can see, enjoyed his boat ride across to the mainland quite a lot, and managed to successfully avoid getting sunburn to boot.

Matemo has a sheltered beach where we were finally able to use Samuel’s swim ring – a big thanks goes out to his Canadian cousins for the present :) (Not mind you that they are using it at the cottage just at the moment anyway)

All in all, a lovely weekend escape.
